Milton Lake Latest Catches week ending 30/9/18

Milton Lake is the place to head for if you want tench, bream, crucians and roach, along with a chance of a bonus carp, either on waggler with a running line, or pole close in or up against the lily pads, where fish can often be lined up with a little-and-often loosefeeding approach using small baits.

The Priory Farm AC Saturday match was won by Billy McKinley with 20 crucians and a tench for exactly 30 lb from peg 2, on pole with maggots and pellets.
Runner-up was Jamie Cox with 15 lb from peg 4, ahead of Ian Farmer with 14 lb 6 oz from peg 22, and Ray Smee on 13 lb 2 oz from peg 21.
