• All anglers must be in possession of a large landing net, minimum 42″ on Temple Lake and 36″ on The Old Lake
• A large specimen unhooking mat must be used at all times; this must be at least 36” long and 24” wide and ideally 2” thick. Mats with a zip up the side to enable fish to be carried securely are preferred
• Minimum line strength is 12lb
• No braided main lines (except on marker rods) or shock leaders to be used
• Barbless hooks only to be used (barbed and micro-barbed hooks are not allowed)
• Please use sensible hook length materials, i.e. no spider wire – if in doubt please ask
• No fixed rigs or bent hooks to be used
• Method feeders are banned
• All particle baits with the exception of sweet corn, hemp and carp pellet are banned, no trout pellets, peas, beans, nuts or maize
• No fish to be sacked at any time, all fish to be returned to the water immediately after capture and photographing
• Floating baits are permitted, provided that care is taken not to endanger wildlife
• Bait boats will only be permitted when agreed with the bailiff – Carp Subs are banned
• When photographing fish, support the fish over a large unhooking mat, kneel and never stand up with the fish
• When returning fish to the water you must use a sling, zipped unhooking mat or landing net regardless of the distance. Do not carry any fish without the use of a sling, zipped unhooking mat or landing net
You will be asked to leave the fishery without refund and/or your membership will be revoked if you break these rules.
