Milton Lake Latest Catches week ending 19/2/17

Following recent netting, fishing is now underway again, and lake regular Alan Derbyshire was quick to make up for lost time, landing tench, crucians and specimen roach to 2 lb.
Fishing a 13-metre pole, Epsom angler Alan had eight tench and six crucians, along with roach and rudd, on double maggot, switching to 4 mm expander pellets for better quality fish, from peg 22.
And he was back later in the week for more, this time fishing peg 2 and landing three tench to 3 lb and a 2 lb roach, with others of 1 lb and 12 oz, on single and double red maggots over groundbait and dead maggots.
