Bonds Lake Latest Catches week ending 26/8/18
Bonds has been in great form this summer, as indicated by how popular it has been, often the first lake to fill up on warm weekend days.
One of the great attractions about Bonds is how a variety of tactics work, meaning visitors can fish in a way that they enjoy and still catch plenty of fish.
Pole or feeder, straight lead or waggler, or pellet waggler up in the water with bait fired over the top all work well, and the fish keep on the move, giving lots of anglers a slice of the action.
Grzegorz Kubicki, from Croydon, landed an impressive 37 carp to 6 kg (13 lb 4 oz) on straight bomb and banded pellets, feeding 8 mm carp pellets.
