Old Lake Latest Catches week ending 25/11/18

It’s been a week of adjustment for the Old Lake fish, with some cold nights to contend with, and not much of a temperature rise by day.
But that is about to change, with the strong south-westerlies bringing milder weather, and fish are sure to make the most of the chance to feed.
One angler who did manage to have a memorable visit was Veselin Pashov, from Wimbledon, who becomes one of the select few anglers to have landed a 30 lb fish from the Old Lake.
Veselin caught a 30 lb mirror carp, fishing peg 15 with Baitworks Scent from Hell pop-ups, the fish being the star capture of his overnighter.
