Temple Lake Latest Catches week ending 9/6/19
Temple Lake continues to produce numbers of fish, this week topped by a 33 lb 8 oz mirror carp and a brace of ‘twenties’ to 28 lb 4 oz.
Adam Rogers had the ‘thirty’, fishing a Mainline Cell wafter tight to the corner of the island at peg 12.
He was fishing a 24-hour session with pal Damien, who landed his first Temple carp, in the form of a 17 lb 8 oz fully scaled from peg 11, casting to the lily pads close in on the right with the same bait.
Steve Willetts, from Woking, had mirrors of 28 lb 4 oz and 24 lb 7 oz on a 48-hour session at peg 11, on single 14 mm Sticky Baits Manilla boilies over a few 12 mm freebies.
And James Whitmore had success on a quick overnighter, landing a 28 lb common at peg 3, on a single hook bait over a handful of free offerings.
PLEASE NOTE: LEAD CORE IS BANNED ON BOTH TEMPLE AND THE OLD LAKE. PLEASE SEE KEN IN THE SHOP FOR FURTHER DETAILS.
