Temple Lake Latest Catches week ending 30/4/17
The Big One has made a rare appearance on the bank, landed by Chris King at 38 lb, along with a stock fish of around 19 lb, and witnessed by Conor Cook.
There was also a ‘thirty’ for Jay Knight, from Epsom, on his first session on Temple, weighing 32 lb, from peg 1 on a Mainline pop-up.
Barry Mogg achieved a trio of ‘twenties’ with fish of 29 lb 4 oz, 28 lb and 22 lb from peg 10, on single 20 mm Mainline Cell boilies.
And Jamie Hughes had a 21 lb fish that was a stock ghost common.
Last week we reported how David Parfitt landed a 34 lb 8 oz mirror carp from peg 6, on an 18 mm Mainline Fruit-tella pop-up over crushed boilies, and also had a 20 lb common. He has sent us pictures.
Dean Jackson has done the same with a picture of his 31 lb 1 oz mirror from peg 11, on a 15 mm Mainline Essential Cell pop-up.
Joe Watts, from Mitcham, has done the same with his 27 lb common and 23 lb mirror from peg 14, on his first session, on 20 mm krill single baits over freebies.
And Richard Lock, from Croydon, the same with his brace of ‘twenties’ at 26 lb 8 oz and 20 lb from peg 12, on single 20 mm Cell baits and a 15 mm Dynamite Monster Tiger Nut boilie over scattered freebies.
