Temple Lake Latest Catches week ending 3/3/19

After last week’s 18 lb 8 oz mirror carp to Mark Savage, there was a 28 lb fully scaled this week, to Sam Hepburn, suggesting that a corner has been turned in terms of temperature and light levels.
Sam, from Chertsey, was fishing peg 8 last Wednesday when he landed the fish, on a Mainline Cell wafter cast tight to the island.
There was also another double-figure fish caught, indicating that carp activity is on the increase, and there could soon be fish being caught on a regular basis.
