Temple Lake Latest Catches week ending 23/4/17
Once again there are ‘thirties’ to report from Temple, the biggest a 34 lb 8 oz personal best mirror carp for Terry Parfitt, fishing peg 6.
Terry used an 18 mm Mainline Fruit-tella pop-up over crushed boilies, and also had a 20 lb common.
Dean Jackson, from South East London, had a 31 lb 1 oz mirror from peg 11, casting tight across over a few freebies with a 15 mm Mainline Essential Cell pop-up.
Joe Watts, from Mitcham, landed a 27 lb common and a 23 lb mirror from peg 14, both of them new PBs, on 20 mm krill single baits over freebies.
And Richard Lock, from Croydon, also had a brace of ‘twenties’ at 26 lb 8 oz, which was a common, and a 20 lb mirror.
Richard fished peg 12 with single 20 mm Cell baits, casting tight across, though he had the biggest fish on a 15 mm Dynamite Monster Tiger Nut boilie over scattered freebies.
Last week we reported how Tony Chilton, from Staines, had four carp, at 20 lb 2 oz, 20 lb, 19 lb 1 oz and 17 lb 8 oz, the biggest a common and the others mirrors, from peg 9 on Cell tipped with corn, with crushed Cell soaked in Almond Goo around the hook bait.
