Temple Lake Latest Catches week ending 18/6/17
Anglers on Temple are getting used to catching several fish per session, including a brace of ‘thirties’ and a ‘thirty’ and three upper-‘twenties’ this week.
Matt White led the way with three commons weighing 31 lb 14 oz, 30 lb 2 oz and 22 lb (see photos, all on Mainline Peaches & Cream boilies fished in the margins of peg 14.
Gary Knight had commons of 34 lb, 25 lb 14 oz, 25 lb 8 oz and 19 lb 1 oz (see photos), as well as a mirror carp of 27 lb 12 oz.
Gary fished peg 9 with 18 mm Mainline Essential Cell in open water or to the island margins, all of his fish being landed in daylight.
Brian Cox marked his first weekend on Temple with mirror carp of 28 lb 11 oz and 18 lb 6 oz from peg 3 (see photos), casting close to the island channel with Carp Company Icelandic Red with Caviar & Cranberry baits over a few crushed freebies.
Josh Knights landed a 24 lb 5 oz common from peg 20 on a 15 mm Essential Cell boilie cast towards the aerator with a PVA bag of free samples.
John Botting, from Horsham, had a 22 lb 10 oz common from peg 5 on single 14 mm A2 Baits Creamy Toffee pop-up.
And Chris King, from Westcott, landed a 20 lb mirror from peg 6 on a single 18 mm Cell bottom bait with a PVA bag.
