Temple Lake Latest Catches week ending 16/9/18
After a brief lull of one ‘thirty’ last week, it was back to bigger numbers again this week, with four banked, to take the total reported to 15 over the past five weeks.
Terry Baker led with way with The Ghost at 35 lb 6 oz, up on its last reported capture three weeks ago at 34 lb 4 oz to Jon Botting, having come out the week before that to Mark Ford.
Terry was fishing peg 9 after a move, the same peg where it fell to Jon, and using Active Bait Solutions offerings cast to the island.
Matt White has also been in action, landing a 34 lb 14 oz common from peg 1, casting a home-made bait into the left-hand channel.
John Keatley landed Two Tone at 32 lb 8 oz from peg 9, on a Dynamite Monster Tiger Nut boilie, the first reported capture since Terry Baker landed the fish at 32 lb 5 oz four weeks ago from peg 1.
And bailiff Sam Sawyers increased his personal best with another ‘thirty’, beating the 30 lb 2 oz fish that he landed in April with a 32 lb 4 oz common from peg 10.
Sam also had fully scaled fish of 26 lb and 18 lb 4 oz on his 24-hour session, on JHBaits Nuti-B pop-ups over crushed boilies.
