Temple Lake Latest Catches week ending 15/10/17
It wouldn’t be October without The Ghost putting in an appearance, and the fish didn’t disappoint, falling to a Temple newcomer on only his second visit to the lake.
The water’s most distinctive fish fell to Alan Robinson, at 35 lb (though his scales could be reading 1 lb to 1 lb 8 oz light), from peg 1 on a single 15 mm Sticky Baits Peach & Pepper pop-up over free offerings of 15 mm Mainline Cell in the middle of the lake. (see photo)
Alan’s first visit to Temple produced a 16 lb 8 oz common, giving him an enviable 100 per cent success rate so far on the water.
Conor Cook has also been in action, landing a 26 lb 6 oz mirror and commons of 20 lb and 19 lb (see photos), from peg 2 and peg 5, on Cell baits fished in open water.
Ray Harding had a 19 lb 8 oz common from peg 10 on a 15 mm bottom bait tipped with a pop-up in a snowman, close in over 12 freebies.
PLEASE NOTE: LEAD CORE IS BANNED ON BOTH TEMPLE AND THE OLD LAKE. PLEASE SEE KEN IN THE SHOP FOR FURTHER DETAILS.
