Temple Lake Latest Catches week ending 12/8/18

The drop in temperature and stormy weather was always likely to produce a positive reaction in the carp in Temple, and there is a rumour of a large number of fish being caught in the last day or so.
Just prior to the change, Clive Elson banked a 26 lb 4 oz common carp from peg 1 on a JHBaits Nuti-B pop-up tipped with white corn and cast into open water
Pete Russell landed a 19 lb fully scaled from peg 9 on a balanced bait of half a Mainline Cell bottom bait and half a Pineapple pop-up.
And last week we reported how Friar Tuck has been landed again at 32 lb 4 oz, two weeks after being caught at exactly the same weight, this time by Jason Ostler.
Jason has sent us pictures of the fish, which came from peg 1 on Mainline Essential I.B. bottom baits in open water.
