Sean Howard bagged his 3rd and 4th Temple thirty of the year catching “The Ghost” at 35lb 9oz and “Big Lyn” at 32lb 6oz on Saturday. Fishing the favoured back bank and his favourite swim 11, Sean fished glugged popped up corn to the island margins catching both his fish early in the session.
Ed Mason was another angler to do well on Temple over the weekend catching one of the Italians, “Italian 2” which weighed 31lb 8oz plus two commons weighing 25lb and 22lb. Ed fished swim 12 catching all his fish on popped up corn fished to the island margins with a PVA bag filled with 10mm KG1 pellet which he fished over 20 free offerings.
Other anglers to do well over the weekend were Craig Hess who caught two mirrors weighing 27lb 7oz and 24lb 14oz caught from swim 12, Stuart Mountjoy who managed a 27lb common from the island margins off swim 3, Lee Nockels who caught a pretty 25lb mirror, which fell to popped up corn glugged in a fruit dip. Craig Jones also who managed a 24lb mirror which also fell to corn whilst regular Neil Malcomson managed to bank a 23lb common during his days fishing on Saturday.
