4 Temple 30's top this weeks catches! - 22 03 2009
As water temperatures increased, so did the fishing on Temple with 4 more thirites reported this week. Keron Stiff was the first to catch with a cracking 35lb 12oz mirror. Fishing swim 12, Keron caught on a Richworth Pineapple Hawaiian boilie which he fished 6’ from the island over a kilo of freebies.
Another angler to bag a thirty this week was Lee Nockels, fishing swim 5 along the road bank, Lee fished a single piece of fake corn to the island margins catching a stunning 33lb 12oz mirror.
Not to be outdone, Dean Jones caught a nice big common weighing 32lb 15oz, which was soon followed by a 24lb mirror. Fishing swim 11 on the back bank, Dean caught the common on a single popped up piece of corn, which he fished to the left hand island, the 24lb mirror was caught on red and yellow corn popped up from close to the aerator.
Robin Ellis suffered from ‘bus syndrome’ this week, having not caught a common for a while and then three come along at once! Weighing 31lb 12oz, 26lb and 24lb, Robin fished swims 3 and 15 catching all his fish on glugged corn over a few free offerings.
