Lewis Daneshi from Northolt, Middlesex fished his first session on Temple this week and was rewarded with a 30lb 7oz mirror, which was also a new PB for Lewis. Fishing a short 24 hour session, Lewis chose swim 11 on the back bank fishing his Pulse baits to the island margins over a small amount of free offerings. See picture.
Carrying tag number 187411, this mirror was stocked in April 2004 at 20lb 4oz from our own stock fish and is at a new record weight.
Fishing with Lewis on the day was Temple regular Dean Jones who managed a pretty 24lb 10oz mirror during his session. However Dean returned a short while later to bag his own thirty, this time a stunning common weighing 31lb 5oz. Fishing swim 13, Dean fished a single popped up plastic corn over a bed of corn and Pulse response pellet into the island channel. Dean also caught a 19lb 4oz mirror during his session.
Carrying tag number 143009, this stunning looking common was also one of our own stock fish stocked back in November 2004 weighing 25lb and is also now at a record weight.
Whilst rumours of a big mirror being caught were rife, I have at last had it confirmed that Robin Ellis was the capture of a 36lb linear which he caught on ½ an Icelandic Red boilie fished to the margins from swim 3 approximately 3 weeks ago. Robin also caught a 21lb mirror in the same session. See picture.
