2 MORE THIRTIES HEAD UP CATCHES ON TEMPLE! - 15 10 2008

Fishing peg 13 on Temple Lake, Regular Craig Jones had a great few days catching 5 fish topped by a brace of thirties, a common weighing 33lb and a mirror weighing 32lb 5oz. Craig fished popped up corn 6” straight off the lead which he fished in the open water feeding pellet and corn. Craig’s other fish were mirrors weighing 26lb 8oz, 22lb 6oz and a common weighing 19lb 8oz.

Other successful anglers on Temple were Steve Willetts who caught a 28lb 1oz common, Graham Lewis who managed his first Temple carp this week, a 26lb 8oz mirror. and Olie Roberts who caught a cracking 26lb 1oz mirror.

It was not just Temple this week which produced, on the Old Lake Gavin Campbell had a good session catching 8 fish which included five 20’s, three mirrors weighing 23lb 8oz, 23lb 4oz and 22lb 5oz and two commons 25lb 9oz and 20lb 8oz. Olie Roberts also had a good session on the Old Lake catching 6 fish including a 26lb mirror and 21lb 12oz common whilst Clifford Cowell caught 6 carp to 24lb 6oz. Andy Willmott also had a good session catching a couple of fish topped by a 23lb 8oz mirror.
