Hi all, I am coming down with two friends on Saturday to fish Bonds. I have been told pegs 1-4 and 16-20 are best as they have slightly deeper water?

We will all be fishing the pole, any hints or tips please?

Do you think the lake will be busy Saturday, are we likely to be able to fish where we want?

Best regards,

Pete.

Yes mate I am on Maggot Drowning. May see you on Saturday then although the weather forecasts are getting worse and worse! :(

Pete there are no matches on Bonds this saturday so the coast is clear. The pegs you mentioned are good as well as peg 8 fishing close to the margins. Will give you more info in the shop on Saturday if you come down and brave the weather.

Pete,

Fished Bonds recently and had few good sized carp on the pole using small pieces of meat and corn. Also had a few carp on a single bit of corn flicking a small bomb over to the island.

Have a good day.

Thanks for the info lads :D

Will be there bright and early in the morning. I forgot to mention Russ that I phoned up a few days ago about driving down to the lake as one of us cannot walk very well. Hope this is still ok after all the rain?

Cheers

Will size 10 hooks work well? And does float fishing in the margins with pepperami work well?

Thanks Tom
