Fish O Mania 2008

So what did you think of the Fish O final?
Personally I thought it was a good final but I dont see why there is a need for a celebrity match. I would rather all the focus remains on the final itself but that is just my thoughts.

I think the same as you russ. I myself targeting carp do not am not really interested by match fishing but i thought that it was really good. I dont think there is need for the celeb match to be televised either although i suppose it gives the spectators a chance to see some familiar faces fishing.

Matt, I thought the anglers fishing the match came across really well especially when they were being interviewed whilst landing fish. I have viewed my comments about the match in my angling column for The Surrey Mirror and Dorking Ad this week regarding the celebs match. Shame the pegging created 4 end pegs especially when the lake itself is round, maybe its something they can look out for next years event.
