Punts - Tips please

Hello, my only fishing from a boat is from a pleasure cruiser on the Broads where i seem to catch all the worlds Ruffe and nice 4-5lb slabs especially at Beccles Marina, anyway i digress, anyone got any helpful tips regards fishing from the Punts ?

It will pay to be armed with cotswold halibut pellets and paste plus hemp. minimum 8lbs line and small heavy waggler and sturdy rod so that you can moor up and cast back to the margins. Some nice tench and carp have been had this way.

Tight Lines comes to Bury Hill fishery
Sky Sports programme Tight Lines came to Bury Hill fishery on the hottest day of the year so far when Keith Arthur joined our Russ Evans on a punts session in the jungle. Conditions were great for filming but far from ideal for fishing however a few good sized fish were landed by Russ and Keith during the afternoon session. It is believed at the time of writing that the show featuring the session will be screened on Friday 11th July 2008 on one of the Sky Sports channels and then replayed later in the evening and again on Saturday morning.
