Week Ending 30th December 2007 - 30 11 2007.
A much better week on all lakes with some good predator action reported along with a few decent carp.Picture shows our resident swans keeping warm on a pretty chilly day.
Weekending 23rd December 2007 - 21 11 2007.
Despite a very chilly week with all lakes iced over, anglers have been catching a few pike and zander on the Old Lake with fish to 14lb reported. With the weather due to warm up over the weekend, expect some bumper winter fishing over the Christmas week. Photo is of Andy Little and Eric Bailey with a brace of winter pike and zander.
Week Ending 16th December 2007 - 16 11 2007.
Despite some pretty crisp weather, the pike and zander continue to show whilst Milton Lake produces some great winter sport with specimen roach and perch showing in good numbers.Picture shows 'Gadget' with a typical Milton perch which are showing well at present.
Weekending 9th December 2007 - 6 11 2007.
Mild coloured conditions see plenty of zander caught on Old Lake along with bonus tench to 6lb for pleasure anglers and some great mixed bags on Milton Lake. Picture shows Alan Fransham with his 9lb zander taken on a Pro-Fish Course.
Week Ending 2nd December 2007 - 2 11 2007.
Zander sport picks up helped by coloured water conditions. Weeks best 13lb 1oz. Picture shows Graham Bounds 11lb 5oz Zander.
Weekending 25th November 2007 - 25 November 2007.
Despite further frosts and freezing rain, water temperatures have increased slightly this week making for some excellent zander sport with fish to 14lb 1oz reported. Picture is of Stewart Ball's 11lb 8oz zander.
Week Ending 18/11/2007 - 18 November 2007.
Despite tumbling water temperatures, the week has seen some reasonable predator sport with zander to 11lb reported and pike to 17lb.The general fishing has also been reasonable with some reasonable bags of bream reported from the Old Lake and some very good quality bags of roach and perch from Milton Lake. Week Ending 11th November 2007 - 11 November 2007.
Zander sport gets a boost from a flurry of doubles reported this week which included fish to 13lb. General sport also picks up on all lakes with the Old Lake and Milton fishing particularly well. Photo oh Leo Parker's 18lb pike caught whilst boat fishing.
Week Ending 4th November 2007 - 4 November 2007.
An increase in water temperatures see's a marked improvement in both predator and general sport with a number of double figure zander reported along bags to 70lb.Picture is of Steward Ball's 11lb 8oz zander.
WEEK ENDING SUNDAY, 28th October 2007 - 28 10 2007.
Regular Steve Limburn had a blinding day early week catching 9 zander to 10lb 8oz.
Week Ending 14th October 2007 - 14 10 2007.
Predator season kicks off with a BANG with plenty of pike and zander reported. Also big carp start to show with 5 thirties reported this month already topped by a new Temple record Ghost weighing 35lb 12oz. Picture is Jack Pearce with an 11lb Zander which came as part of a 9 fish bag.
Week Ending 7 October 2007 - 9 October 2007 - 7 10 2007.
Overall an above average week despite the drop in temperature with all lakes producing some good catches.
Week Ending - 30 September 2007 - 30 09 2007.
On a very wet and windy day the Predator season got under way with plenty of Zander up to 9lbs coming off the long bank and high numbers.
Week Ending - 23 09 2007.
Our predator season starts October 1st, however with global warming now effecting autumn and early spring temperatures, we have decided that the predator season will now close on March 14th and not the 31st March as shown in our brochure.
Week Ending 16th September 2007 - 16 09 2007.
Temple bursts into life producing a 36lb 11oz mirror and a number of big twenties whilst the fishing generally on all lakes picks up a notch as autumn temperatures kick in. Picture Chris Parslow's 28lb 14oz Temple mirror.
Weekending 9th September 2007 - 8 09 2007.
Carp fishing goes crazy with three thirties reported including a new Old Lake record as well as bucket loads of smaller carp as weather finally improves. Picture of Alex Williams 20lb Old Lake mirror.
Week Ending 2nd September 2007 - 2 09 2007.
Generally a much better week as the fishing improves with better weather. With both the Old Lake and Temple producing thirties this week, the fishing overall was excellent with some big mixed bags reported along with a number of big fish. This weeks picture, Matthew Hubbard with Temple's 'Big Lyn' hitting the scales at 34lb.
Week Ending 26th August 2007 - 26 08 2007.
Bury Hill's carp fishing goes ballistic with anglers catching up to 37 fish per session whilst general fishing see's some big bags from all lakes with Bonds producing the odd 200lb haul. Picture, J Moore with a pretty Temple mirror.
Weekending 19th August 2007 - 19 08 2007.
Whilst the weather plays havoc with the holiday season, anglers continue to bag up on both the Old Lake and Bonds and Milton Lakes. Picture Liam Cooper aged 15 with a 14lb Bonds mirror which was part of a 100lb bag.
Week Ending 12th August 2007 - 12 08 2007.
With ideal weather for fishing, the Old Lake throws up another thirty along with some big bream and tench bags. Picture Scott Masters with a 26lb Old Lake mirror.
Week Ending 5th August 2007 - 5 08 2007.
Fishing picks up as sun comes out with some very good catches reported including a 36lb Temple mirror and big multi catches of the Old Lake. Picture Simon Lessing's 35lb 14oz Temple mirror.
Week Ending 29th July 2007 - 29 07 2007.
Despite another wet week, catches improve on all lakes with plenty of carp reported and general bags topping the ton. Picture Matt Donovan with a 25lb 10oz Temple mirror.
Week Ending 22nd July 2007 - 22 07 2007.
Well what a week that was! Still despite some of the worst summer rain we have seen, all lakes produced a few good catches which included a shared 600lb carp from the Old Lake, a 30lb common from Temple and 100lb winning match haul off Bonds. Picture Simon Roberts with his 30lb 9oz Temple common.
Week Ending 15th July 2007 - 15 07 2007.
Despite a mix of high and lows, the fishing generally has been pretty good, although the early part of the week fished better than the back end. Saying that Temple still managed another thirty whilst the Old Lake threw up more multi bags. Picture Simon Lessing with a very pretty 24lb Temple linear.
Week ending 8th July 2007 - 8 07 2007.
All lakes produce some huge bags as water tmeperatures pick up. Whilst the Old Lake threw up yet more big bream bags, Bonds saw match weights top 175lb whilst Milton respond with pleasure bags to over 100lb and match weights to 75lb+ which included some quality roach to 2lb 8oz. 1st July 2007 - 1 07 2007.
Fishing goes crazy as rain boosts oxygen levels and fish turn on! With huge bags of bream reported from the Old Lake, Temple threw up a 10 fish haul to Anglers Mail star Colin Davidson which Ness his fiance bagged the best fish of the session, the Ghost weighing 30lb 8oz. Week ending 24th June 2007 - 24 06 2007.
The fishing holds up despite some appalling wet weather with lots of bream showing along the front bank and some credable carp catches from Temple and the Old Lake. Picture Chris Maltby's 26lb 8oz Temple mirror.
Week Ending 17th June 2007 - 17 06 2007.
Despite a very wet week, the fishing has remained pretty good on all lakes with some excellent catches reported. Whilst Temple has produced some big upper twenties, a number of anglers on the Old Lake have bagged multi catches with one angler catching over 30 carp in one session. Week Ending 10th June 2007 - 10 06 2007.
As temperatures heat up so does the fishing with 3 more thirites reported from Temple along with some very good bags of bream from the Old Lake. Picture Gerry Holmes 32lb 8oz Old Lake common.
3rd June 2007 - 31 05 2007.
Despite some appalling weather, three more thirties are caught bringing the total number of thirties caught in the past 6 weeks to over 30, whilst things start to FIZZ as the weather turns warmer!
Week Ending 27th May 2007 - 27 05 2007.
3 more thirties reported from both the Old Lake and Temple Lake despite heavy spawning which included a 30lb 8oz common for young Danny Lowry aged 12. Picture Danny Lowry with his 30lb 8oz common.
Week Ending 20th May 2007 - 20 05 2007.
Fishing HOTS UP with another 4 thirties from both Temple and the Old Lake whilst the bream and tench also kicks in with some big bags and specimens reported. Picture, Benjamin Clarks 30lb boat caught mirror.
Week Ending 13th May 2007 - 13 05 2007.
Despite some pretty grim weather the fishing kicks in with another 5 Temple thirties caught this week as well as some very good general bags. Picture Glen Baker's 31lb 10oz Temple mirror.
Week Ending 6th May 2007 - 6 05 2007.
Carp fishing goes balistic with a further 6 thirties reported from both Temple and the Old Lake together with some huge multi bags with one angler bagging 10 twenties! Picture, Hugh Bonsor's 33lb Old Lake Common, overleaf, Dan Hughes 33lb 6oz Temple mirror.
Week Ending 29th April 2007 - 29 04 2007.
Sport hots up for both carp and pleasure anglers with another 5 thirties reported this week topped by young Max Wells who bagged two thirties off Temple whilst the pleasure anglers are bagging bream and tench to over 200lb. Picture of Max Wells 36lb 8oz mirror.
Week Ending 22nd April 2007 - 23 04 2007.
Boat anglers started to catch bigger bags of tench as large numbers head for the jungle, whilst pleasure anglers start to bag up on the Old Lake bagging 100lb+ bags of bream. Picture is of Sam Sibley with a 24lb leather he caught from the Old Lake.

Fishing goes bananas with huge bags reported off all lakes as well as four more thirties reported from Temple and Old Lake.
Week Ending 8th April 2007 - 8 04 2007.
Temple produces 3 thirties this week topped by a 37lb mirror whilst fishing generally picks up as warmer weather takes hold. Picture Ray Harding and his 37lb Temple Mirror.

Temple starts to throw up some big fish whilst the Old Lake see's plenty of bream sport. Picture Chris Ives with his 28lb mirror.
Week Ending 25th March - 25 03 2007.

Week Ending 18th March - 18 03 2007.
With spring in the air, the carp fishing notches up another gear with Temple producing yet another thirty along with some very big upper twenties. Picture is Spencer Gymer with a 30lb 1oz Temple mirror.
Week Ending 11th March - 11 03 2007.
Temple throws up a new thirty as carp action picks up. Zander sport also improves as water temperatures increase! Picture Mark Symours 4lb 5oz Crucian caught from the Old Lake.

The zander continue their feeding frenzy with yet more doubles reported this week.
Week ending 25th February - 25 02 2007.
Zander sport goes crazy with 6 doubles reported this week as well as two near 20lb pike. A 4lb 5oz crucian was also reported from the Old Lake.
Week Ending 18th February - 18 02 2007.
Carp fishing picks up as water temperatures rise and fishing improves with plenty of zander reported in the week. Picture of Lee Bacon with a well deserved 22lb common.
Week Ending 11th February - 11 02 2007.
Despite snow and ice, all lakes produced a few fish with Bonds and Milton Lakes fishing particularly well.
4th February 2007 - 4 02 2007.
Despite changable conditions, some anglers have done well this week with Matt Donovan bagging 5 carp to 27lb on the Old Lake.
Week Ending 28th January - 28 01 2007.
Despite appalling conditions, a few anglers did manage a few fish this week... Also, full details of Paul Chandler's recent Temple thirty which is piling on the weight!
21st January 2007 - 21 01 2007.
Chris Street bags 5 zander including two doubles weighing 11lb 4oz and 10lb 8oz as the zander go mad in spring like temperatures.
Week Ending 14th January 2007 - 14 01 2007.
Temple throws up a new thirty and the fishing goes Bannanas as temperatures hit 13 degree's. Picture; Freddie White with a pretty mid double pike.
Week Ending 7th January 2007 - 7 01 2007.
As water temperatures increase, so do catches with all lakes producing some very good bags for the time of year.
