FACILITIES Bury Hill is proud to offer some of the best facilities you will find on a fishery, helping to make your stay as enjoyable and problem free as possible. Parking Disabled Access With prior notice, arrangements can be made for disabled anglers to reserve pegs near the Boathouse on the Old Lake, which is only a short walk from the car park, or to drop tackle off by car to pegs on Milton and Bonds lakes, provided that the vehicle is returned to the car park immediately. For match bookings we ask you to advise us in advance how many anglers will require food, in order to offer a more efficient service. Indeed no matter what you forget, run out of or break, we can prevent it ruining your day. There’s also a great selection of bait to choose from, including convenience baits like tinned meats, sweet corn, ground baits, soft and hard pellets and pastes to frozen and shelf life boilies and pop- ups from manufacturers such as the Carp Company, Heathrow Baits, Mainline, Dynamite Baits and Cotswold Baits to name but a few. We are also now stocking a full range of fresh baits including quality maggots, caster and worms. For predator the angler, we also carry a huge selection of frozen baits. |
FISHERY REPORTS Bream and carp catches resist weeks downpour! - 13 July 2008 Despite some pretty grim weather, all lakes fished reasonably well with the Old Lake seeing some good bags of bream and carp reported regardless of the weather whilst the two smaller lakes also saw some reasonable action.
