CORPORATE ANGLING DAYS Renowned for the beauty of our lakes and quality of our fishing, you and your guests are guaranteed a truly memorable day that is just that little bit different! Our Corporate Angling Days target the multi-species that are stocked in all our lakes, although one can still expect the odd monster, with bites and fish being more plentiful than the monsters targeted on our Big Fish Days. All-inclusive and fully supervised including tackle and tuition where required, these days are ideal for both sexes and anglers and non-anglers alike. Running throughout the spring, summer and autumn months, we can cater for small numbers or large groups when you can book by the peg, lake or take over the entire complex for the day according to your needs and numbers. Run as ‘Fun Days’, your day’s activities can be tailored to suit, organizing individual, pairs and team challenges with points being awarded for catching the first and last fish, the smallest and largest fish, the heaviest individual and team weights, the most species and the prettiest and ugliest fish. Giving everyone the chance to win a prize, which we are also happy to arrange if required. Alternatively, you and your party can simply sit back and enjoy the sheer beauty and tranquillity of this unique location and a day away from work at the water’s edge, and who knows what monster will strike! Bury Hill’s Corporate Angling Days offer a comprehensive range of inclusive packages, which can include tackle and bait, tuition, prizes and full catering facilities to suit your budget and needs. For that extra special day, we can also arrange for an angling celebrity to join you and your guests on the bank. We have four lakes at Bury Hill, although Bonds and Milton Lakes are the two most used for general corporate days. Bonds Lake is 2 acres accommodating 20 anglers whilst Milton is slightly larger at 3 acres with room for 30. Both lakes are classed as easy waters with Bonds being stocked mainly with small carp ranging in size from 2lb to 10lb with a good head of silver fish and the odd tench whilst Milton boasts a large head of tench and crucian, fewer carp and a plenty of silver fish. The fishing on both lakes would be using float tackle, as there is no need to cast far out. Baits on both waters are also more general with natural baits such as sweet corn, luncheon meat, pellet and other basic baits all catching on the day. Our Lakeside café situated in the boathouse on the Old lake is the hub for all catering activity, whilst during the warmer months we also offer the opportunity to have a BBQ at the water’s edge or when numbers dictate, to arrange for a marquee close to where you are fishing. Boasting superb views over the lake, the ambiance of the boathouse is rustic with old black and white photographs on the walls. Specializing in traditional homemade English fare, we offer an extensive choice of menus, which include a choice of breakfasts, Champagne brunch, soups and salads, hot meals, BBQ’s and hot and cold sandwiches. All Inclusive Days Cost per person (assuming a minimum of 10 people) £99.00 + VAT Corporate Angling Days Prices
